Starting at center, ch 8, join with sl st to form ring.
1st rnd. Ch 6 (to count as dc an ch-3), *dc in ring, ch 3, repeat from *6 more times, sl st in 3rd st of ch-6 first made.
2nd rnd. Sl st in front sp, ch 4 (to count as tr), 2 tr in same sp, holding back the last loop of each tr on hook, thread over and draw through all loops on hook, ch 1 to fasten (1 cluster made); ch 2, 3 tr in same sp, holding back the last loop of each tr on hook; thread over and draw through all loops on hook, ch 1 to fasten (another cluster made), *ch 2, in next sp to make two 3-tr clusters with ch-2 between each cluster. Repeat from * around, endin with ch 2, sl st at tip of 1st cluster made.
3rd rnd. Sl st to center of next sp, ch 4 (to count as tr), *in next sp to make tr, ch 3, tr. Repeat from * around, ending with tr in same sp as ch-4 was made, ch 3, sl st in 4th st of ch-4 first made.
4th rnd. Sl s in each of next 2 ch of next ch-3, *ch 4; in next ch-3 sp make three 3-tr clusters, with ch-2 between each cluster; ch 4, sc in next ch-3 sp. Repeat from * around, ending with ch 4, sl st in 1st st of ch-4 first made.
5th rnd. *3 sc in ch-4 loop, ch 5, sc in ch-2 sp between first 2 clusters, ch 5, sc in next sp, ch 5, 3 sc in ch-4loop. repeat from * around. Join with sl st to 1st sc made.
