- CROCHETOLOGY EXERCISESIf you're interested in antique crochet, have a look at A Lesson in Crochet, from Handbook of Wool Knitting and Crochet, published in 1918. First, learn the terminology, then proceed to the patterns and give them a try. Advanced crocheters might be interested in the Ladies’ Sleeveless Jacket or Hug-Me-Tight, and beginners may go for smaller projects such as Child’s Toque in Wedge-Stitch or Baby’s Shoes in Crochet.
