I succeeded in making a little crochet coaster today this morning. When I got home in the afternoon, I was able to write the pattern for it. Little victories such as this make me happy about myself. I’ve been having a lot of problems. We haven't had running water for 7 days now. I have a 4-year old sow that is inappetant, depressed and lethargic. I deal with problems as they come. It’s good to be mindful of what I do in the present moment. That’s how I finished this project.
The diagram of the centerpiece is included here, so you can follow it and modify as you wish. You can continue on until Rnd 6 or 7 to make a larger coaster. Mine is about 16 cm in diameter and my coffee cup and glass mug sits nicely on top of it. If you have centerpiece crochet patterns, this is a nice way of using those patterns to make little decorative coasters. Have fun!
